StOrM

The rain consumes me..

I feel it all around me.

I look to the sky.

cool drops pelt my face.

i close my eyes..

i breathe.

I look to the horizon and see the storm about to come..

The dark sky emerging out of the blue haze...

i see the bright yellow flash and it contorts my vision.

i wait in anticipation for the sound of redemption. it comes.

The rain falls faster.

my hair soaked in its glory.

i let the rain consume me...

nothing else matters..
